EOTC WEEK ROCKED!
Week 5 of Term 1 was EOTC Week. This was education outside the classroom. On Monday we went to Okahu Bay swimming, rollerblading and kayaking. On the Tuesday we walked around the Avondale area finding out more about our community. On the Wednesday we went rock climbing and then stayed overnight at the school. Mrs Mannion told us the story of the "Blue Nurse". On Thursday we had a visit fromt the Heart Foundation and we learned about safety at the beach with the Surf to Schools programme. On Friday we braved the rain and did team building with the wonderfl instructors from Bigfoot. It was an awsome week so check out the fun we had.
