Interzone Basketball.
Basketball Boys Report On Tuesday 11th of August was the Western District Basketball Zone Day. Avondale Intermediate put forward there best basketball talents and showed there skills on the court. The boy’s team were very fortunate to be coached by Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Graham. Even though they were tired they still strived to represent Avondale Intermediate on the court and through their basketball skills. Unfortunately, the boy’s team had only won one game, but still strived to play right up to their full potential. The Avondale Intermediate boy’s placed 12th. Even though they lost, they still believe that they can develop even more skills on the court and maybe actually win in our Tuesday weekly competition at the Waitakere Stadium. Congratulations to all the boy’s that showed their talents on the court and also big congratulations to the Avondale Intermediate Girls team who placed 5th.
