Mid Winter Polar Plunge

The last day of Term 2 saw our students enjoying an Avondale Intermediate tradition with an icy plunge into the pool.  Each year students mark the middle of winter with a swim in our school pool.  This year we had one teacher and our caretaker join in.  Students purchased hot soup and bread afterwards as part of a fundraiser for the heart foundation.  Have a  look at these faces and think if you would be brave enough to join them.
